7:15-8:00:  Guest Speaker: Janelle Seenath - Rapid Process Improvement through System Redesign

Janelle Seenath currently works as a System Redesign Coordinator/Management at the Miami VA Medical Center. Ms. Seenath served in the U.S Navy as Electrician’s Mate from 2002 to 2008 and was stationed at various locations. Upon exiting active duty, she served in US Naval Operational Support Center, at Fort Schuyler Bronx, NY for another 2 years from 2008-2010 as Electrical Engineer. Ms. Seenath’s many accomplishments include a number of commendations she received during her time in the military.  

Ms. Seenath attended Brooklyn College and attained a Bachelor’s Science Degree in Psychology and earned a Master’s Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Long Island University. Ms. Seenath’s work experience includes; System Redesign Coordinator/Management at James J. Peters, Bronx VAMC, System Redesign Coordinator at New York Harbor Healthcare System, N.Y., Veterans Counselor, at Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mental Health Counselor at Rose Beltre Counseling & Consulting Agency, Queens, N.Y.  Ms. Seenath has certifications in Yellow, Green and Black Belt with Purdue University and Veterans Engineering Resource Center, Certification in Franklin Covey Project Management, Certification in Advanced Facilitation/Transformational Coaching, and Certification in Coaching Lead Program. Ms. Seenath has developed and conducted training for: Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Project Management, Data Analytics, Leaders Developing Leaders training, Quality & Safety.
