ASQ Nova Student Branch Biographies

Deborah Segovia

Student Branch Chair 2016-17

Deb has over ten years’ experience in business administration. She has managed several types of businesses including in the financial, hospitality, construction, and healthcare fields. Initially Deb was interested in the accounting aspect of business; however, throughout her working experience it became clear that she had a natural ability for process improvement. Every company she has worked for has seen improvements in different types of processes, whether it be something as simple as going paperless to reduce waste and increase efficiency to creating an audit system from scratch to decrease errors while increasing revenue. She is able to find needs without any direction and able to communicate those needs to her employers in order to get the necessary buy in needed to complete suggested projects. She believes the Process Improvement MBA at Nova is exactly what she needs to increase her process improvement abilities. She holds a BS in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and is expected to complete her MBA at Nova in December 2017.
